Hey all!  We’re back!  We want to thank all those concerned readers who emailed us about our site changing.  Don’t worry!  We’re not going anywhere.  We simply changed service providers to a better web hosting company.  It just took a few days for the transfer to complete.  We’ve been thinking about doing this for a while and finally came to the decision to just do it.

Given the change, we had two options: port our old site to the new hosting or build a new site from scratch.  We weren’t sure which we wanted to do, so last week we put our heads together and decided that because of the problems (i.e. bugs) we had with our old theme, we decided to create a new site from scratch.

But what about all the old posts?  Not to worry.  We have all of our data backed up in files and so this is what we’re gonna do.  We’re going to start from the beginning, from our very first post back in July and repost everything!  Each new post will include a summary at the top explaining the post and any interesting or important information about it.

We’re doing this for two reasons.  One, it will give our new readers a chance to read our original posts and see how the site evolved over the first six months of, shall we say, growing pains?  :)  Two, it’ll be fun and will give our readers who have been with us from the beginning a trip down memory lane.  Of course, any new bully wank that comes along will automatically take precedence and be posted immediately, so don’t worry about that.

As for our extra pages (i.e. Learn More, Listopia Voters, etc.) and our sidebar information, we have that backed up and will rebuilding those as we go along, so we appreciate your patience while we do that.  The only data we’ll lose is all of our wonderful visitor comments.  Sorry, everyone!  But!  This will give you a chance to post new comments along the way…  And we still have our “dedication” posts in which we recorded some of our chosen visitor comments from the old site.  We’ll be posting those, too.

Another project we will be doing with the new site is creating an STGRB treasury.  We’ve been talking to several authors who would like to hire IP attorneys but are finding the costs to be well out of their range.  So we decided to create a fund that will help these authors out by giving them a little financial support.  Our team will be donating money to the treasury every month.  In addition, we will also be placing a “donate” button on our site for anyone who wants to pitch in.

Okay!  So… here we go!  This gonna be fun!
