We just recently received a link to an interesting article in Forbes titled Fake Reviews: Amazon’s Rotten Core. In it, article’s author addresses a growing problem that we’ve been talking about on our blog for over a year now and that doesn’t just apply to Amazon’s rotten core, but also GR’s. This growing problem is the existence of “carpet-bombers” (aka trolls, bullies, etc.):
We recommend reading the entire article as well as the one listed in the screenshot: How To Read a Bad Review: Advice for Authors and Buyers. Both articles are very informative and offer up good advice.

Carroll that article is close to a year old. long before it was discovered that Amazon only removes 4-5 start reviews. I wrote an email to Amazon at the time to which they of course never replied. I found the post I had intended to put on my blog when I got a reply from Amazon. That never happened. so I updated it and posted it the other day.
Amazon’s refusal to even answer policy question, or for that matter even respond, says a lot.
This article was published two months after we started our blog.
Well the trolls over at Amazon have finally gone overboard by posting my home address online in a sustained attack that is the most vicious I have seen to date. The attacks there are so thick that Amazon has been deleting posts all day in the BBA group. I have been, it would seem, convicted of three felony drug charges on April 15 2013, according to my local paper. This is completely untrue. If I could, I would post some of the SS.
We saw. We got a few screenshots, too.
What is wrong with these people! That attack goes beyond psychotic, it’s pure ruthless nastiness in its most evil form. Hate is not a word I use often but hate is exactly what I feel for these individuals. I feel this just by their online behavior. Imagine what they must be like in real life.
