We’ve just recently been alerted to a new bully attack led by a GR member named . Of course, she has a myriad of other names, seven in all:
From what we’ve heard, Autumn generally only writes critical reviews, which isn’t bullying in our opinion, but rallying your friends (who happen to be part of the GR bully and GR exile crowd) and launching an attack on another reviewer and an author (who defends the reviewer) is bullying. We’d tell you the story, but the author who was the victim of the attack, already has. So, we’ll let the screenshots from the do the talking:
And Autumn’s response:
And here is a reply to Autumn that in our opinion is the best reply to a bully in the whole history of online bullying. You may want to keep a screenshot of this because we believe this generally applies to all trolls:
Wow! Just wow!
Good words, Rob!

An addendum
Well, in typical bully fashion, Autumn is celebrating the fact that she is a bully.
This reminds us forcefully of several other bullies who boast of terrorizing other people online. So for future reference, we recommend that all authors steer clear of Autumn and her ilk. Whenever you see names like Misanthropic Reader or Holy Terror or Tina Bringer of Badass, that’s a good sign you want to turn the other direction and not look back.
I think I smell bacon—oh wait, that’s just someone’s ass getting burned.
I did say months ago that it would all come back on them.
Every time someone one stars a book it keeps it going.
Every time someone uses an insulting shelf name, it keeps it going.
Keep in mind though that comments here and in the author groups can also keep it going. Every time someone’s feelings are hurt, in any camp involved with all this, it just keeps it going.
So who wants to be the grown-up and work towards making it all end?
Every one using one stars as protest on GR are setting up their aspiring author friends. They’ve pissed off a lot of people and not all of them are willing to rise above it.
Hating just for hate’s sake is destructive to everyone.
Well said Jaq.
Is it just me or does this [redacted] not understand that her Booklikes page is linked to her Wolf Surprise Twitter?

No, you’re right. She doesn’t seem to realize it. If you click on the twitter icon on her page, it takes you to Wolf Surprise.
Oh my… that is hilarious. And she can’t stand liars?
Her GR profile also states she is 38.
‘Professional reader’? When does someone become a professional reader? What happened to reading just for the joy of reading?
“Professional Reader” is the term NetGalley use to describe the people they dupe into providing their service for them. Not only is it unpaid work, but NetGalley also tells these readers they “don’t have to pay”, as if that’s some kind of favour. I would be most annoyed if, as a publisher, I had paid a small fortune for a contract with NG and then found that they were allowing people of Autumn’s calibre free reign to crap over my clients’ works.
I remember [redacted] was attacked by Litchick, who had got her book through Netgalley. A lot of these bullies get books through Netgalley. I don’t know much about it, but I had the impression that publishers could approve or not approve specific bloggers on Netgalley. If that’s the case, maybe it’s time for an awareness campaign on just how much Netgalley is a source of problems.
It seems I’ve had the honor of getting a post devoted to the above comment on Candy Girl Miranda’s blog http://miranda.booklikes.com/post/832783/stop-the-netgalley-bullies-
Which makes me think I’ve hit a nerve. Does Netgalley know about the bully bloggers who use it to get free books to attack? Is this how they intended their service to be used? My guess is it’s not. I bet they wouldn’t like it if they knew.
Misanthropic reader LOOKS like a depressed girl on meds. You can kind of always PICK THEM OUT can’t you?
Since our institutions have all but been torn down because so many people thought they were cruel and inhumane, I wonder what those same people think now that they realize these ill people have been set loose on innocent individuals who are attacked and hurt by them.
Most of the school shootings you read about have been attributed to sick people who society has chosen to ignore.
Yes, it worries and scares the hell out of me!
If you stand up for yourself her friends attack.
“she posted a link to this review to discuss the reply of your rabid fan. And if you had not commented on how mean it was to publish a review on other sites…”
Autumn again shows her complete lack of empathy, integrity, and discretion:

Autumn is making a two big mistakes here. One, Annette never contacted us about Autumn’s attack on her. Other people did. Two, Autumn published Annette’s private information without Annette’s permission, which is illegal. She could get in trouble for that.
