We’ve had a few blog readers ask us what happened to the group running Unmask Goodreads Bullies, a site we endorsed last month that was supposed to have had its official launch on April 1st of this year. We’ve learned just recently that they’ve decided to remove their blog and Facebook page in order to consolidate their efforts with STGRB. Instead of running an entire site and Facebook page, they will be working in the background to help fight the injustices done to others online by those known as the GR bullies (and exiles) and the Amazon trolls. UGB made this decision on their own and even though we’re sad that we’ll no longer have a sister site, we’re glad that they’ll be helping out.

Good for them. So they finally contacted you guys?
Yeah, they got in touch with us a while ago.
This little cartoon is doing the rounds of the bully blogs. http://threears.booklikes.com/post/859153/post
I sure wish they’d apply it to themselves. When trolls like Angela, Xox, Miranda, and whoever were banned from the Goodreads community, nobody was ‘censoring’ them. People had just realized they were assholes, and were showing them the door. Will they finally admit that it was Goodreads’ prerogative as a private site, to delete whatever reviews they wanted? And that this was NOT censorship? Will the stupid ‘Off-Topic’ book be finally acknowledged for what it is, namely stupid? Don’t hold your breath.
Good call! All of us know that it applies to their bullshit, but of course, they don’t see it that way, do they? When they’re banned or blocked or forced to follow the rules, they call it censorship. Too bad they can’t see that they’re the assholes being shown to the door.
