The Great Purging of the Goodreads Trolls has begun. So far, if you check out our Badly Behaving Goodreaders page, you will find the following bullies are currently GONE from GR:
Adam Archer Pring (no longer on GR, account deleted)
Autumn Rosen (no longer on GR, account deleted)
Barbara (no longer on GR, account deleted)
Freebird (no longer on GR, account deleted)
Jacklyn (no longer on GR, account deleted)
Jane Litte (no longer on GR, account deleted)
Jennifer (no longer on GR, account deleted)
Kara Malinczak (no longer on GR, account deleted)
Lyn the Heartless (no longer on GR, account deleted)
Serena (no longer on GR, account deleted)
Shiloh Walker (no longer on GR, account deleted)
Tatum (no longer on GR, account deleted)
Thor (no longer on GR, account deleted)
They’ve all jumped ship and headed for Booklikes and LibraryThing. Edit: We received word that many of the bullies are being kicked off Goodreads for their behavior:
GR also just kicked “Barbara Lindt Ninja” off after multiple complaints were lodged. Her ratings and bookshelves likewise were deleted. GR is indeed cleaning house.
I encourage all Goodreads members to lodge a formal complaint against Miranda Koryluk for malicious behavior. You can do this via the “Contact” icon at the bottom of the GR page. GR is now taking action against these trolls by kicking them off the site and vacating their ratings and bookshelves.
Which means you can also report her and TinaNicole and Tracy for grouping up to create another .
We invite our readers to report this to GR management.
One of our blog readers asked us what Booklikes thinks of the trolls’ behavior and we couldn’t answer because we’ve been too busy with a new project to find out. Well, one of our helpers/blog readers asked BL that question and this is what he found out:

Update: 9/27/2013
Amazon owns 40% of LibraryThing, so that more than likely means it has the same rights as GR to use Amazon authors’ copyrighted material. Since Booklikes is independently owned, if they do not have an author’s permission to use copyrighted material owned by the author, the author has a right to ask them to remove it. See our post, GR & Copyright, for more information on that.
