Well, it looks as if YA Bound Book Tours has removed Moonlight Library from one of their book tours after she . Instead of reading he entire book thoroughly and coming to an educated conclusion, she gives up after reading 13% of it:
So… what does she do? She whines about it on our BookLikes blog, crying about how unfairly she was treated and wondering why she was removed:
That’s right! She cares so little about it, she wrote an entire blog post whining about how she got dissed.
Now, we’ve heard of this happening before — mainly, blog tour hosts not being able to finish a book and instead, doing a promo for the book’s tour. And this is fine. If you act like a professional, you probably won’t get removed from the tour.
But… if you act like an asshole, which most of the bullies do, then yes, your butt is gonna get booted from the tour, so we recommend you just suck it up and move on.
It is not, however, coincidental that this would happen in light of all the recent media attention that has been brought to the bullies and their author-bullying activities. Thanks to our wide circle of blog readers and superstar authors like Anne Rice, the word about bad book bloggers and bullies is spreading rapidly. Blog tour companies are being warned and authors are learning what they need to do to protect themselves from trolls.
